Lumen Slide is an LED illuminated trading card display frame case designed specifically for collectors who store their cards in protective toploaders. Instead of individual card apertures, the display uses precision-machined horizontal display channels engineered to accommodate standard trading card toploaders with clean alignment and controlled spacing.
These precision-machined horizontal display channels allow collectors to slide their toploaders into position and adjust the arrangement depending on their preferred layout. Whether highlighting a smaller selection of standout cards or filling the frame with a full configuration, the system gives collectors freedom to curate their display rather than locking cards into a fixed structure.
The design works in conjunction with the dual-layer matboard construction, allowing foreground and background colours to be customised. This layered approach introduces depth while giving collectors the flexibility to match their display with card themes, collection aesthetics, or room environments.
Toploaders themselves are widely trusted by collectors as a protective standard for valuable pulls and long-term storage. Lumen Slide simply transforms that familiar protection method into an intentional illuminated display.
Hand-assembled in our FrameLab workshop, each frame is precision cut, aligned, sealed, and individually inspected before dispatch. A concealed LED system introduces depth and controlled contrast, allowing your collection to command attention without distraction.

Toploader Display System
The Lumen Slide replaces traditional individual card openings with precision-cut horizontal display channels designed specifically for trading card toploaders.
Each channel allows toploaders to slide smoothly into position while remaining visually aligned within the frame. This design maintains a clean uninterrupted presentation while allowing collectors to adjust spacing and positioning according to their preferred layout.
Depending on configuration, the frame can present between four and eight toploaders, giving collectors the flexibility to highlight key cards or expand the display as their collection evolves.
The precision-cut channel system works in harmony with the dual-layer matboard construction, creating depth while allowing foreground and background colour combinations to be customised.

Lighting Architecture
The LED strip is recessed within the inner lip of the frame and concealed behind the matboard perimeter. Light diffuses across the recessed edge to create a soft halo effect without direct spotlighting.
Diodes are not visible when viewed front-on.
The standard Warm White configuration provides controlled illumination with three adjustable brightness levels.
The optional RGB upgrade allows you to select individual static colours, changing to a different colour with each button press. The RGB system operates at a single fixed brightness level and does not include flashing or cycling effects.
The result is illumination that enhances structure and depth without harsh glare.

Materials & Protection
Lumen Slide features a clear lightweight acrylic front sheet selected for optical clarity and reduced overall weight. This material allows colour, texture, and detail to present cleanly without distortion.
The included acrylic is not UV protective. This decision prioritises visual clarity and structural balance. Collectors requiring UV filtration may independently upgrade glazing if desired.
Four matboard options are available:

All matboards are selected for long-term display stability and precision edge finish.

Each frame includes one precision cut insert selected at purchase. Layout configuration determines toploader quantity and arrangement while the external frame body remains consistent.
Interchangeable inserts allow you to refresh configuration without replacing the entire frame.

Production, Handling & Dispatch
Each Lumen Slide display is built to order and individually assembled in our FrameLab workshop. Every frame is prepared according to the selected configuration and undergoes careful alignment, finishing, and final inspection prior to dispatch.
Standard Production & Handling Time
Up to 10 business days prior to dispatch.
While many orders are completed sooner, we advise allowing the full 10 business days.
Black Core and Custom Colour matboards may add approximately 5 business days due to specialty ordering.
Priority Build (+15%)
An optional Priority Build upgrade reduces the production timeframe to 3–5 business days and moves your order to the front of the queue.
